Running a Udoo Quad with Android 4.4.2 and Gapps Kit Kat. Currently not able to access the onboard microphone. Speaker output works fine. Plugging in a microphone to the onboard mic port yields no results. When trying to use Voice Recorder within Android, no audio is being input except when the microphone is turned on or off, there is a small spike of audio which can be heard on the playback. Thoughts? Is a microphone issue a known issue on Udoo Android 4.4.2? If so could someone provide the fix? I would much rather fix the issue myself than have to wait 2-3 years for the next Android Distro.
idorel77, what kind of mic are you using? I have tried both non-powered and battery-powered mics with no success on 4.4.2. The system picks up no input from the mic except when the "on" button is clicked, it picks up ONE initial spike of sound for a moment, but absolutely no voice. Also Andrea, I've filed a ticket as well.
