Continuing with the automotive theme a novel use case for the i.mx6sx is a vehicle diagnostic adapter. Here we demonstrate how the NEO can be re-purposed as a prototype diagnostic adapter for VW vehicles supporting KWP2000 Services. A custom developed Android Application retrieves diagnostic information from the vehicle in real time. The application communicates over Wifi with the NEO which in turn is connected to the vehicles ODB-II port. More details on the blog.
