Getting Started

This easy step by step guide will help you set up your UDOO and get started in less than 10 minutes.

STEP 1 – Download UDOO’s official Operating system:

ANDROID

If you prefer, UDOO supports quite a lot of Operating systems, like Debian, ArchLinux,  XBMC and much more. Download them here

STEP 2 – Prepare your SD Card:

 

 

Step 3 – Prepare and Connect

  • Insert your SD Card
  • Plug Keyboard and Mouse
  • Connect your monitor via HDMI
  • Connect Microphone and Speakers (if any)
  • Connect via Ethernet (if any)
  • Turn UDOO on by plugging the Power Supply

Step 4 – Use the Arduino Side of UDOO

There are 2 ways to use the Arduino Side of UDOO: internal or external.

Internal

Use the internal serial connection directly from a Linux flavour running on UDOO. Use the Arduino IDE icon preinstalled on the latest version of UDOObuntu or Debian.

External

Use the external serial connection from your Computer connecting it to your UDOO using the CN6 serial/programming port. Download the Arduino IDE from the Arduino Website then follow the tutorial to have more info about Get the Arduino-IDE ready to program UDOO.
