I have set up the UDOO motherboard with Windows 11 last week. But I am encountering a problem when I am trying to install software. Every time I came across this error code 0x0000004E. Does anyone have any idea about how can I able to fix the issue?

Can we make a simple os with UDOO BOLT board ?

I want to learn if this board is designed to run any third party UEFI or Legacy mode operating systems.

Hi to everibody
I want to connect my UDOO to a VGA monitor by using a HDMI -> VGA converter
I have connected all but the monitor says to me the frequency speed is high
I would like to know if it is possible to set , by software or bash , the frequency of the output video at 50 Hz instead 60 Hz .
Is there any parameters to do that job ?

Hi, sorry for bothering but I tried different time to flash some microsd (3 actually) but I can't get output on the boot.
I've seen the FAQ and I'm pretty sure my problem is on uboot but I cannot get over

Hello can anyone tell me when I can purchase this item, I have gone to the website thinking ok I will order the Udoo X86 Ultra but it's been saying it's a pre-order only so does this mean we have to wait till when to get the board has it been released elsewhere and not being ordered for Canada ?

Hi,

I'm interested in learning how to modify other distributions to work on UDOO, for instance Debian. This would allow a lighter working environment among install that could be a bit easier to run - such as XFCE or similar. Though, it'd just be nice to learn how to modify others to work with UDOO for the added flexibility

A bit OT:
Regarding Gnome as the default desktop environment, I'm considering installing XFCE on the Ubuntu install and making XFCE the environment to boot to...

I've noticed that the uboot sources have disappeared from github, is there anywhere I can download these? If not, please provide a copy, I'm interested in some changes to uboot that could make direct SATA booting very possible in the future.

At the end pratically nothing runs ...Arduino IDE doesn't start
If I enter java -version the prompt is "ubuntu@udoobuntu .....
If I enter javac -version the same
If I check into the /usr/lib/jvm I see the new folder of jdk1.7.0_60

If I enter sudo update-alternatives --config java...

So I'd like to make a little box that can emulate everything up to Nintendo 64, I don't need/want to emulate GameCube or Wii. Would the UDOO Quad be able to run a Nintendo 64 Emulator at full speed?

C++ Compiler for UDOO

I'm just getting started with UDOO. Is there a recommended C++ compiler to use with UDOO? Is there one included in the distribution already? Any IDE for C/C++ development? clang and boost would be nice adder.

I think I`m to the point of giving up on the udoo , which has so much potential ,but anything like this relies on the community and support.
I lot of the topics on this forum are getting zero reply , and don`t bother posting a support ticket , because I won`t get a reply.
Parts of the kernel which work by default on most other SBCs, just don`t work to the udoo.

Just looked at this a survey of the top 10 hacker single board computers which the udoo has come in 10th ....

Had some issues with the Wiki article on performing a boot from SATA with the new U-Boot code and variables. So, I got the commands working to boot from SATA with the new U-Boot running the Ubuntu 12.04 image. Note, this does not require the /boot directory to be on the MMC card, the only thing needed to be on the MMC card is the U-Boot code itself, otherwise the card can be blank. Boot from SATA drive

Ok. Works fine on the SD card but the card won't last forever.

It would be much better to boot from the SD Card and then run from a SATA drive.

For that to happen we need another uBoot image I guess.

Also will need to know which plug to purchase that will match the SATA power plug on the UDOO board.

I would guess all this need to come from the UDOO developers?

Hello Everyone
I have a UDOO Dual and i am using gstreamer to stream a webcam video to my PC.
Already works, but it has a delay of 2 seconds, which for my aplicattion, a RC Car with a web cam, it's a huge delay.
Searching a little bit, i found that the Cortex-A9 in UDOO is slow for video, and that i needed to compile gstreamer again for using the GPU on it for encoding the video.

Can anyone help-me? Please, i have been searching for it for days but i never founded how to do it
