I needed to replace a <a href="https://www.apogeeweb.net/electron/what-is-a-toggle-switch.html" target="_blank" class="externalLink" rel="nofollow">toggle switch</a> on my Spit, so I went to an auto parts store that offered switches that were nearly comparable to the Spit switches (common auto electrical part supplier). The box stated 12 volts at 15 amps. Great. When I got home and opened the package, the switch&#039;s markings indicated 3 Amps at 250 volts AC. I want to connect my UDOO to a VGA monitor by using a HDMI -&gt; VGA converter <br />
I have connected all but the monitor says to me the frequency speed is high <br />
I would like to know if it is possible to set , by software or bash , the frequency of the output video at 50 Hz instead 60 Hz .<br />
Is there any parameters to do that job ?<br />

I lot of the topics on this forum are getting zero reply , and don`t bother posting a support ticket , because I won`t get a reply.<br />
Parts of the kernel which work by default on most other SBCs, just don`t work to the udoo.<br />

So, I got the commands working to boot from SATA with the new U-Boot running the Ubuntu 12.04 image.  Note, this does not require the /boot directory to be on the MMC card, the only thing needed to be on the MMC card is the U-Boot code itself, otherwise the card can be blank.  Here&#039;s the commands I ran after stopping autoboot, note the single quotes, these are very important for...<br />

Ok.  Works fine on the SD card but the card won&#039;t last forever.<br />

It would be much better to boot from the SD Card and then run from a SATA drive.<br />

For that to happen we need another uBoot image I guess.<br />

Also will need to know  which plug to purchase that will match the SATA power plug on the UDOO board.<br />

I have a UDOO Dual and i am using gstreamer to stream a webcam video to my PC.<br />
Already works, but it has a delay of 2 seconds, which for my aplicattion, a RC Car with a web cam, it&#039;s a huge delay.<br />
Searching a little bit, i found that the Cortex-A9 in UDOO is slow for video, and that i needed to compile gstreamer again for using the GPU on it for encoding the video.<br />
