Hi everyone, and hello - am new to the forum.

received my UDOO and 15" screen a few days ago and after a bit of a struggle with the slightly chaotic documentation
(things are a bit all over the place) have managed to get most things working.

UBUNTU is working ok with touchscreen and Internet via gateway on eth0
Android loads and works on touchscreen .. used ifconfig and ip route to set static ip and gateway address
did set the name servers also and have pinged the name servers and the gateway as well as other pcs on the local network ..
    all works fine ...

no joy with the browser, and next boot resets the config.

What am I doing wrong ?

    Regards
    Gmd

    Anyone ?
Udoo support does not answer either, made a ticket a couple of days ago. Very disappointing.

For everyone who is interested .. the answer from support
    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Regarding the Wifi connection and ethernet togheter this is a restriction in Android. It purposely only allows one connection to be up at a time and has a handler in the 'ConnectivityServices.java' file that tears down a 'non-preferred' network when a network with a priority is enabled.
If you unplug the ethernet cable and restart the board the wifi will work.
We are trying to solve this but it is a nontrivial issue.

    Regards,
    UDOO Team
