    Hi Friends,
This is my first post here. I am new to UDOO as well.

Purchased a UDOO Quad excited by the Hardware and Software capabilities it has.

All I have done is :
1)Flashed Android into the SD card and tested. It works well.
    2)Flashed Linux as well.

I am not able to proceed any further than this. Please guide me on the following:

    >Is it possible to write an Arduino Sketch using my laptop and burn it without entering into the UDOO's linux?
    >How do I write a program to click a button and show some text(Hello World) in the UDOO linux using my laptop?

I have bought this board impressed by the video and its simplicity in interfacing complex hardware. I wish to create such projects.

I am a newbie who had done many other odd jobs before being exposed to electronics.

Please help me proceed with this.

    Thanks.

In the manual the chapter 4 talks about the Arduino programming and section 4.4 teaches how to program the Arduino from and external pc. The manual is available in the Downloads section of this site.

The precedure is not simple and requires two reboots of the Udoo. If you are new to this tools maybe is better if you start using the Arduino IDE in Udoo.
