First time user having no luck connecting via direct connection ssh on mac running Mojave 10.14.2. I installed drivers (HORNDIS 9.2 and FTDI serial) through links on neo docs site. My neo shows up as a remote disk but I cannot ping 192.168.7.2 or establish a connection. Any thoughts? I am no network expert.
I finally solved my connection problem by installing HoRNDIS using homebrew (brew cask install horndis) https://brew.sh/ . I think I initially installed the wrong version of HoRNDIS which subsequently caused further attempts of install to go wrong. Homebrew prompted for uninstall before installing the correct version automatically.
