    Hello,

I'm interested to use several of those computer modules in an industrial application, where I would need to output on the display a still frame (with feh or a similar utility) but I need the output to be HDCP2.3 encrypted?
Is, in your opinion, doable at all with the UDOO bolt?

    Thanks,

    Marco

Assuming UDOO Bolt v8, it's APU is Ryzen V1605B which has embedded Vega 8 GPU.

Supported version of HDCP is determined by that GPU and is hardware determined.
If it does not support HDCP 2.3, then it's the hardware lmitation. There is nothing you can do.

    From Wikipedia
Vega (2017) supports up to HDCP 2.2.
    Navi 1X (2019) supports up to 2.3.

Thanks for your reply, i know that the hardware must support HDCP.
As per your reply, no UDOO supports HDCP2.3 since the best i can get it's still in the VEGA family, correct?

    Thanks again!

V1605B (circa 2017) has a VEGA GPU core.
VEGA = no HDCP 2.3 support.
