I finally got my Bolt and I installed Windows 10 on it. I have all the updates and the latest AMD drivers installed, but checking Device Manager, and Control Panel > Infrared > Hardware, it looks like the infrared receiver hardware either isn't being detected, or is not working at all. I have also checked the BIOS, but I can't seem to find anything related to infrared.

Any ideas as to how I can troubleshoot this? Would really like to get IR working as I intend to set up a media centre with my Bolt.

    Thanks.

From my understanding the IR port is only for the Arduino. It would take some work to get it to work with Windows.

    waltervl is right,
There is no driver support for UDOO BOLT and no ETA has been defined yet.
We gave priority on HW development and shipping, and this has been left behind.

Consumer IR (CIR) receiver signal is sent to Embedded Controller MEC1705H.
The EC is then in turn connected to x86 processor.
CIR support, just like last time (UDOO x86), probably will come at a later time.
