I'd like to drive some small speakers and a short led strip from the 12V_ALW, taken from the CN12/PIN 15. I wanted to know how much current could I ran through that connection (having the proper PSU providing the power) Is 3A/36W the maximum power for the board? Or it can handle more power?
Apparently the connector has a maximum current rating of 2 A. The recommendation is not to exceed half of that rating, to keep an adequate margin of safety, so a draw of over 1A is not advisable.
