music player won't play MP3s

I recently purchased the Udoo Quad and installed the Udoobuntu OS. I've downloaded a few songs (MP3 format) from my Amazon account, but I wasn't able to get the music player (LXMusic) to play the MP3s. When I added them to the playlist, it shows the length to be 00:00. Does anyone have any explanations for what is going wrong and how I can fix this? I looked at a few posts on this forum but wasn't able find an explanation/solution.

Hello, I have the same problem. When I click on a MP3 music, LXmusic software starts but shuts down immediately. I installed VLC and I also have the same problem.

And I also have the same problem with the videos.

Could someone help me. Please
