I just got the UDOO Neo board and set it up as an IoT device.
Booted the OS onto a microSD card and followed this tutorial: https://www.udoo.org/docs-neo/Basic_Setup/Usb_Direct_Connection.html
I followed the Windows section of the tutorial, but there is one problem (that is not all that crucial, but it bugs me): the CDC driver is not found and I have no idea how to install it (or even what is does and ow it might affect me).
The other problem I ran into was that on Linux (Ubuntu), I can't use the USB direct connection because the OS doesn't seem to recognize the board as connected in the Network Conections. (it says that it's disconnected and there is no option to connect it)

If you could give me some advice that would be great! :D
    Thanks in advance!

Did you try the options in the trouble shooting section of the page you referred to?
Did you try another usb cable?
Did you try another PC to connect to?
