Why would I want the 32GB eMMC?

    if the purpose of my Udoo x86 advanced is to run pure KODI. I.e. not KODI on Windows.

    I'm trying to figure out if I should spend 12 euro's on a feature that might or might not be needed.

    12 euro's is ofcourse not a large price to pay. But I'll just make use of the USB to boot up openelec.

    I'm going to add the upgrade. As I'd like the option of running the board as compact as possible. The prospect of using an operating system like Win10 without any external drives is rather handy :)

    You have a point. Not having a usb sticking out...makes it all neater.

    IMHO the $12 are worthy exactly for the reason expressed by Laura. If I'm up to build a robot I want it to be compact. People don't like, while building, Jenga-like skyscrapers of sbc + arduino + pen drive + sensors etc. They are less maneuverable.

    I got ordered the 32GB emmc! Can't wait for it to arrive!
