how to re-partition android 6.0 image for Neo

I'm running into storage issues on an 8GB uSD card (also 32GB cards): it only sees the first GB apparently and insists it's short on memory for apps (among other things).

How can I use the large portion of the card for actual data storage, possibly even to be used as "internal storage" (i.e. where apps can be kept as well)?

Is there a method for "re-partitioning" the image downloaded from Udoo's site?

Or is there a setting somewhere in Settings for this (I looked everywhere, did not see...

@Andrea Rovai No need to make announcements in the boards forums but you can always refer from a running thread to a relevant announcement.

Also please make the date available on a news item in the blog. When I see an older news topic I have no idea when this item was created or published. Edit: now see that on the desktop version a date is shown (full date including year would even be nicer). On the mobile version it is not shown.

These are not bots.
These are human spammers.
And these spammers, being human, are more clever than a bot - since unfortunately, we are at least some years away from a technological singularity. Maybe you didn't notice, but their modus operandi consists in making a normal post, so not to be identified as spammers - and then start spamming, right after a few posts.
To fight these spammers we are enforcing a new policy.

Yocto in the Downloads section

Hi guys,
this is just to inform you that we've added Yocto to the other downloadable images for UDOO Neo, Dual and Quad.
As you know, Yocto is an unofficial image, mostly ported on UDOO boards by Graugans.
I take this opportunity to ask Graugans to keep me informed if updates of these images come up.

Hi guys,
UDOObuntu 2.1.1 for UDOO Neo is available in the Downloads section.
If you don't want to reflash the Micro SD, just type in the terminal

We have fixed the upload of Arduino sketches after reboot as asked by @JackSilb here
We also fixed I2S in the Device Tree Editor.

Dear friends,
you may have missed our latest release, dated Friday. i.e. UDOObuntu 2 final release. It's not the final release in the sense that we're stopping working on it, but at least it's stable.
The main change is the Arduino Board Manager: now the Board Manager is supported. This means you won’t have to type

Code:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade

to get the latest version of the Arduino Board Manager.
