I made this case to protect my Udoo x86 running as Linux home server. This is my first more complex design I made with the open source software *FreeCAD* (https://www.freecadweb.org/).

A month ago I came across plasmac0r's case for a Udoo x86 with a 2.5" HDD/SSD compartment. I liked the looks of it, and plasmac0r kindly sent me the files so I could modify it for myself. This topic is the result of that.

My remix is fit for a UDOO Quad with a 3.5" HDD compartment and a 40x40x10mm fan. The air flow is good enough to keep the UDOO and the HDD at a comfortable 25 - 30...

we have also created a case for the Udoo, which we are planning to use for a commercial deployment of the Udoo board. The idea of the case is to provide a capability to mount the Udoo at a wall and to deliver excellent wireless connectivity.
For an improved Wifi connectivity, even in a closed metal case, we have included two openings to mount SMA connector antennas. As the udoo Wifi module does not come with a pig-tail antenna connector we are also working with a supplier...

I decided to CAD up a case for the 7" touchscreen module. I haven't printed it up yet (have to get time on the printer at work), so it might need some additional adjustments. But feel free to check it out and print one. Let me know if you run into any issues. It should be printable on a Makerbot Replicator 2X (what we have at work), and any other printer that can do similar dimensions......

I know there are a couple of 3D printed options out there for UDOO cases. However, I have a laser cutter, so thought I'd put something together using that instead!
