Hi, I just came across the interesting project of PiMusicBox, a local/streaming music player. I would like to know if it's possible to use the Neo's Bluetooth to connect to a Bluetooth speaker and stream audio through it. If it's not possible, what do you suggest as the most simple solution to play audio out of the Neo?
I don't know about Bluetooth as I don't have it. I found the easiest way to get audio out of the Neo is by using a cheap Usb audio stick http://www.udoo.org/forum/index.php?posts/19128
I read your post before writing, but I didn't understand if you're suggesting to buy exactly the model you linked, or another one similar to that; I tried searching for the particular chipset but found anything.
The usb stick I have cannot be bought but there are lots of similar out there. The one I linked to is just one of them. I found this one that should work too ( Linux compatible) http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/282005728213
Check out this post about Android. Should be applicable for Linux too. On Linux microphone input works. Android 6 audio input/output on the Neo
