I'm looking forward to preorder an Udoo x86 but i need to know how much power it is going to drain in certain circumstances (in watts):

    - Power consumption in idle
    - Average power consumption
    - Power consumption on max load

I'd be also interested to know that. Presumably guys have already some prototypes ready, maybe they can share some measurements?

    Hi there @nikodll,
Power consumption in idle is 3W. Maximum power consumption is 36 W with stuff attached (since the board should be powered with a 12V3A power supply). Average power consumption is 11 W.

I can verify Andrea's specifications as I measured power last evening :

    - Loading browser, surfing internet, Windows 10 PRO, with USB wireless adapter, HDMI video cable, Ethernet cable, and remote SSD is 7.0 W to 9.99 W (12.5 VDC, 0.799 A ).
    - Idle desktop Windows 10 PRO, with USB wireless adapter, HDMI video cable, and remote SSD is 5.08 W (12.5 VDC, 0.406 A)
    - Sleep mode, with USB wireless adapter, HDMI video cable, and remote SSD is 863mW (12.5 VDC, 0.069 A)

These 36 W are measured when the arduino 101 is also running at its maximum ?
Because I would like to know if both processors are under stress test how much it would drain.
According to the datasheet under stress test it drains only 1008 mA.

    Oh okay I understand.
The intel Curie seems to draw very few current.
    Thanks

thx I found them here are the figures in W:
    Code:
    Inrush current at boot : 11.04 8.98 6.50
    Idle, power saving configuration : 3.68 3.17 3.77
    OS Boot, power saving configuration : 5.45 4.10 3.79
    Video reproduction@720p, power saving configuration : 4.46 4.31 4.03
    Video reproduction@1080p, power saving configuration : 5.84 5.04 4.02
Internal Stress Test Tool, maximum performance : 12.10 12.24 10.87
