Hi, I'm Jeremy from Montreal, Canada. I am new to all those tiny board. I'm in the process of choosing one and I have some questions about Udoo boards as they seem to be faster than others.

    Hi,

My name is Ghee Sung from Singapore. I am a software engineer and my last hardware interfacing project was many years back. I brought for myself an UDOO neo and Quad and interested to integrate these to the cloud. I have successfully pumped simulated data from Udoo Quad to Google Big Query, cloud sql and Google Sheet. I am still waiting for some sensors to arrive and start pumping live data from these sensors to Big Query for live analytics and visualisation.

Welcome to the community @Nick Hudson! and for your interest in learning more about the UDOO boards.
What type of software and tools do you like to use for developing?

I usually tinker with Linux. Arduino is the one for Udoo for developing on x86 boards you have? Will come with some ideas for developing once I get the capabilities of Udoo devices.

The Intel Curie module (DSP/microcontroller) on the UDOO X86 is Arduino compatible.
The main processor of the board is an Intel Quad Core 64-bit SoC, compatible with x86-64 and x64 operating systems. I have installed Windows 10 and Fedora 26 on my UDOO X86.

Hello. I'm Viktor from Moscow and interested in small microcomputers. I'm a junior specialist in hardware development and master in biology (so many possibilities to portable neural networks, hey) and 3d print.

I took some college courses and became a Linux enthusiast. My PC and laptop are both running distributions based on Arch Linux. I'm interested in Python3 and like that it is basically bundled with Linux. I'm considering the idea of building of this as a Django guy, but will see where this goes.

As for college, I got as far as a 2 year degree in Cyber Security. I feel that I got ahead of myself and wish I had gone for something more practical like Web Development in college. It looks like most jobs in Cyber Security require extensive credentials in experience, degrees, and expensive Certifications. I'm hoping to make a move to something more practical with Coding especially if I can build a portfolio on GitHub.

I'm also hopeful Stef's Killer Python 3 will be more engaging than the awful Power Point lectures I sat through in college.

    Hi everybody,

My name is Bruno and I'm an Electrical Engineer from Brazil working in the space operations sector.
I have a little bit of experience with PIC and STM32 microcontrollers. In 2013/14, I worked with the Sabre Lite board (IMX6Q) for an UAV project at University and a colleague showed the UDOO to me.
I got my UDOO Neo some weeks ago, so I intend to deepen the knowledge in embedded systems development as hobby and make some projects in robotics for fun.

    Best Regards.

Hi everyone! I am Paul, and I have been playing with Beaglebones, raspberry pi, arduino as well as atmel processors for some years, on and off. I have a Bolt which I bought through the kickstarter, and I am in the process of installing my favourite linux distribution (Gentoo) on it. I equipped it with a 1TB NVMe SSD, and 32Gb of memory. I'm liking it very much, and look forward to integrating it into an off grid power management system to control solar and wind generation in the not too distant future.
