Pretty nasty related to that board interaction with Ryzen.
    See
Don't know the actual issue, but
somewhat related to device driver and possibly some hardware related issues.
    See this messy conversation

The manufacturers BLOCK hardware in specific brands.
Not kidding here - you have to buy the correct wifi card to the correct laptop.
Had huge issues with HP machines as an example.

    I purchased
    Intel Wireless-Ac 9260, 2230, 2X2 Ac+Bt, Gigabit, No Vpro
from Amazon with some hesitation. The description gives me the idea that it will not work, but I read a post from another user who was using it. At the time it only cost $12, so I gave it a try. I am using Fedora 30. Both wifi and bluetooth recognized. Wifi sees our wireless networks and bluetooth sees devices. I have not actually tried connecting to anything yet, however.

I can confirm that the Intel AC 9260 works for the Udoo Bolt:

    Hi!
Are you actually installed AC9260 M2 module, and tested both WiFi and BT?

or simply believe it works with Bolt?

Did you use any specific antenna? Do you have any warning at boot screen?

I have yet to come back and test the VPro version I have - I removed it while trying to resolve other issues with the BIOS and Windows setup.
What I can input to the discussion here is:
    - Bluetooth worked without issue
    - Couldn't detect any Access Points for WiFi on 2.4. or 5GHz band
    - Device appeared to be disabled as though "switched off"
    - I didn't have any antennas attached, but this should not matter and has not been an issue on other setups, beyond reduced RF performance. I will attach antennas in the final built.
    - The Intel drivers downloaded from their website adds a performance reporting component as a process. It shows a 5 - 10% performance hit on the CPU during performance testing.

I can confirm that it works for me too on a V8 board. No warnings at boot and no need to install anything special. It was recognized when I booted up and I managed to connect to my WiFi in spite of the fact that I don't even have antenna connected to it yet.

Hello i have installed a 9260 and then installed a Ubuntu 18.04.3. The wifi card was recognized automatically during the installation process and without any antenna connected to the UDOO BOLT (but the motherboard is not inside a Bolt Case). I didn't test the BT. For french Udooers, the card can be found in amazon.fr

It would be also nice to see if someone tested AX200, the more recent equivalent of AC9260.
Theoretically, it should be no different from AC9260 on a recent Windows 10, but who knows?

I update my remark. I have now the Bolt installed in its Metal case with dual antennas connected to the AC 9260. My system is as standard Ubuntu 18.04.3 IMG_3459.JPG .
The WiFi connection works perfectly. I reach the maximum speed delivered by my wifi router. But the BT doesn't work properly. I can connect in standard BT a Sony DualShock V2 with the standard drivers delviers by the Ubunut 18.04.3. But the pad doens't work anymore if the distance is longer than 50cm. I'm currently investigating the issue.
