Is it possible to make Udoo Bolt portable?

    Hi Udooers!
    Just wondering here. Since these makerboards are so tiny. I wonder if those could be used as portable with laptop battery? Might be a silly question but with a small touch screen, mouse and case...

    Why not? The only problem I see is the same as with the Udoo X86: Find a battery that will provide the 19V within the limits that the Bolt can handle. For the X86 it is 12V +/- 5% the normal power packs will not handle this, I assume a normal laptop battery pack also not. So you will have to add a DC- DC Voltage regulator.

    That said, I could not find a voltage range yet for the Bolt in the documentation so it could be different.

    I have to dig a bit deeper. Seems like figuring out of this Udoo built in general is a more or less like a daily job though...
