I have a crucial mx100 - 512 GB and a Agility 3 oct - 128 GB , which are both 6 gb/s sata drives. They both work on the udoo , but the mx100 has problems using the kernel on the drive , so I need to boot from the kernel on the sd card and use the RFS on the sata , it could be a size problem I don`t know. They all work , so yes sata 1 . 2 , 3 work , but not sure you would get any more speed on a sata 1 than a sata 3 on the udoo`s hardware .
