I would like to skip the Input switching regulator and power directly from a linear 5V/3V3 supply. Would there be any adverse effect if I were to just tap the linear supply to the output of the regulator? Thanks
Hi, It's hard to guarrantee that it will work in practical. The power section works like a chain: first it generates a 5V line, a signal enable the 3v3 generator that enables the 1v5 (for ram modules). You can't change power lines directly i suppose. We never test something before, why you need to do this?
