test if 7"touch display working

    I have a udoo dual board and a 7" udoo touch screen
    but i cant get the display to show anything., it powers on and is white but nothing will show on the hdmi i can see android booting however.
    how can i test to see if the screen is ok?
    i tried with a udoo quad board with exact same results.

    since i am on a mac I copied and pasted the setenv string which does not work,
    entered it manually and there is output on display but the touch part still doesnt work.
    and the output is distorted like there is to few colors for the screen.
    i entered this setenv:

    If you want to use copy/paste on the mac you need to use CoolTerm. About the touch, paste here the dmesg now. But i think this is a candidate for a RMA: http://www.udoo.org/customer-care/
