Anyone know what this password is?
Somehow I've got the Ubuntu login screen with 2 choices, Guest and ubuntu.
    I've tried ubuntu, password, etc.
Logging in as quest gets me nothing as I can't sudo without the password.

    1) Open up a terminal and type sudo passwd root
    2) Follow the onscreen instructions to set and confirm your new password

The problem is: Logging in as quest gets me nothing as I can't sudo without the password.
I haven't setup anyother users, changed root's password. I just need the default root/ubuntu password.

fwiw - using the v1.2 for quad I was able to login to guest and change ubuntu's password in the terminal upon startup. I did, however, notice that the keyring still uses password "ubuntu"

But I believe the default user password on mine was ubuntu and changing it using sudo was not an issue, sudo did not ask for a password when I tried, just what password I would like to change it to

Yeah ubuntu should be the default password. Somehow I was able to sudo without a password and change it. I had the same issue.
