Hi all. I have a big issue with the wifi shield. I installed ubuntu on my udoo quad but the wi fi does not work. I read all the tread and forum but no way to activate it. The message i get is : wi fi not active in the icon on top right. I can not work and go far without wifi connection. Is there anyone with the same issue? I also plugged a dongle wifi in the usb port but it's dead, no signal.
    Thanks

Hi, you can try to redo the sd with ubuntu, if the issue persist it could be a hw problem.

I am also having problems with my wifi connection in Ubuntu on my Udoo Dual. The wired ethernet works fine, but my wifi hardware is not detected.
Please help me get it working or please send a replacement wifi module. THanks, David

    Hi there all,
does the Wi-Fi give problem just in UDOObuntu or in any OS?
This to exclude a hardware problem.

I will try it on Debian soon and post the results. Thanks for your response.
When the new version of UDOOBuntu is released, I can try it there too.

I tried in Debian and unfortunately, can't get it to be recognized there either. Any suggestions? I am assuming the drivers should come preinstalled in the OS images.
    debian@udoo-debian-hfp:~$ iwconfig
    lo no wireless extensions.

    eth0 no wireless extensions.

    usb0 no wireless extensions.
