If I select my WiFi network in Web Configuration Panel I type my password, then click Save, it says Done, settings saved!, then I wait and it appears the error message "Error during WiFi connection, wrong password?". If I login with VNC and click the WiFi icon near the clock I see my network but if I click on it it will say I don't have permissions to change network settings. If from terminal type the command nm-connection-editor I receive the following error: error: XDG_RUNTIME_DIR not set in the environment.
Thanks for suggesting this, anyway my WiFi network already has WPA2 password. The point is that the behaviour seems a bit random: after a couple of reboots, Neo connected to WiFi without problems. It seems that randomly at boot it couldn't connect to the WiFi network. Also it's a bit strange that command doesn't work anymore. I was pointed towards it from another user here in the forum when I asked how I could make Neo forget a particular WiFi network, in order to don't make it connect automatically to it. I tried that and I remember I could choose the network to be forgotten from a GUI. But now, after a reinstall of UDOObuntu 2 RC1 it seems the same command doesn't work anymore. I don't know if it could be related to random WiFi connection problems.
