    Dear users,
we're working on improving UDOObuntu 2 RC1, but before we'd like to sum up the UDOO NEO biggest problems at date.
Would you mind helping us in this task?
What are your biggest problems with the board at date?
P.S.: this topic is not supposed to help you solve these problems, just to list them in order to make the case. If you are stuck to a specific problem, please first verify whether it is already discussed somewhere in the forum, otherwise open a topic.

    • NTSC/PAL camera (in progress)
      • Basic hook up guide( There are two input signals, is it for interlaced cameras?)
    • PPM decoding for M4
    • PWM decoding for M4

The web arduino editor. Arduino alone works great.

Serial object implementation stability. Neo (Arduino) requires workarounds not typical to be able to confidently communicate with the Linux side.

    Here are some ideas:
    • I've changed the password of udooer with passed.
However, the VNC connection still requires the default password udooer.
How to change the password for VNC?
    • On the quick configuration pane, add an option to set the time zone.
Default seems to be JST = Japan Standard Time.
    • Is there a root profile?
    • Improve the on-line IDE that appears on the browser as Arduino Editor. A good candidate could be Cloud9.
    • Implement or document Node-RED. It's a graphical programming tool perfect for dealing with IoT messages.
    Good luck with the release!
