I've been told the topic I opened in the Android section wasn't that popular, so I'm reposting here. We finally decided to share with you this Alpha version of Android 5.1.1 for UDOO NEO FULL. The only video output is HDMI. I'd like to highlight the fact that this is a very alpha version, so lots of stuff won't work or will work not properly. It's obvious we are still working toward a more advanced image, but so far this is what we have for you. Gave it a whirl last night, boot up time is a bit slow (I guess that's expected for an alpha build, i assume final will be a bit more snappy). Tried it with a (http://www.chalk-elec.com/?p=1712) 7" touch screen, I think something isnt working right with clicks, mouse follows finger, but no clicking action (havent confirmed its just the udoo with the issue). Works fine with a usb wireless mouse however. Will do some wifi/ethernet testing tonight. I assume we won't see gapps anytime soon? also is it pre-rooted?
Hi Andrea, Follow on questions, as Gianpaolo asked earlier, is there any plan to early release/release source for this as well so we can build our own? Also is there a release schedule for any updates?
