RTC connector male plug

Hallo guys, I have bought a RTC battery with a male connector: http://www.ebay.com/itm/172217616925?_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2648&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT.

But it seems that the connector does not fit in the Udoo Neo. What type of male connector does?

Any links from ebay or similar so i can buy them?

Hi, the build in RTC is not working even if you attach the correct battery wire! See the following thread with advise what to do then (use external RTC) http://www.udoo.org/forum/index.php?threads/3289/

 

I hope they will fix it at one point, but do you know what kind of male connectors that fit?

 

If you want to add rtc support best option is to add an rtc module (ds3231) as per my post (similar price to buying a connector).

 

For the learning effect (for if you want to buy other pheripherals before investigating ), the Schematics and BOM (Bill of Material) of the Neo can be found here.

 

On board battery connector (J8) is a JST 2.00mm (B2B-PH-SM4-TB(LF)(SN)) so you need the male 2.00 mm connector. You should be able to use a JST 2.00mm 2 pin like this.
