"Full" OpenGL or only OpenGL/ES?

    You'll get different scores for glxgears depending on which day of the week and the direction the wind is blowing. It's a demo rather than a benchmark and will suck CPU to boost it's numbers. So you can't really compare them.

    GLMark2 is the one to use for benchmarking and comparison. So thanks for taking the time to measure and post your results :)

    Many people reporting that they can get GLMark2-ES working OK but the full GLMark2 won't (usually memory Seg Faults).

    Also hearing quite different scores from GLMark2-ES (but don't know what resolution people are running at). Suspicion falling on individual Vivante/X11 drivers as to which work best.

    More work to be done on this before the [solved] flag can be applied alas!

    You are correct, but I was referring to the specific problem of OpenGL / OpenGL/ES not working at all.
    As you raised this objection, I will remove the solved flagl. :)
