Android with LVDS 7'/ HDMI

I am having trouble on making android to show something on screen. I installed the image and tested that works using the debugger.

I am not trying to use LVDS and HDMI simultaneously. To set the output I used the commands provided here.
The problem is that If I do so I am getting stuck to "Starting kernel...." message.

Is there a difference between quad/dual and neo that cause this problem?

 

Yes there is a difference and you have to use the instructions for the Neo: https://www.udoo.org/docs-neo/Cookbook_Android/UDOO_Android_Settings.html

 

How did I miss that? The weird thing is that the default option doesn't work for me.

 

You mean you have no output when you connect your Neo to an HDMI monitor and you start with a new burned Android image?

 

That's right. I tried another monitor today and it worked. Looks like the previous one has a faulty HDMI connector.
