    Hi

Currently i'm testing out different things in Windows 10 on the Udoo. One problem i had was that VLC player used almost 100% of my CPU, if you compare that to MPC it only used 20-30% if not less.

I found a solution to that, i played around with the settings in VLC for a little while i tried enable hardware decoding but the program just crashed everytime and couldn't get it to work with less CPU without hardware decoding, then i tried installing the latest nightly build of VLC and DXVA hardware decoding now works, and setting output to use "Direct3D11" now makes my CPU use around the same amount as MPC.

Anyway if anyone need this information, here it is. :)

    VLC version i used: https://nightlies.videolan.org/buil...03-0514/vlc-3.0.0-20170703-0514-git-win64.exe

I've been having some problems with the colors in VLC on the Udoo, it seems like in many black scenes in movies i get a blue-ish tint on the black. Windows media player and Media player classic doesn't have this problem.

I think it most have something to do with me running on a old Limited RGB TV, but then again the other players doesnt do it, its really strange.

Here is an picture of the problem http://imgur.com/kIvwGgb i boosted the contrast and brightness a little in the picture since i have a Full RGB PC monitor and i couldn't really see it on that.

Can a anyone confirm this? here is the original picture try and run it in fullscreen, http://imgur.com/TOImHyu

I believe vlc has some controls to adjust the colors, brightness, contrast, etc. Take a look at those and see if this helps.

Yeah i already did, i just thought something was wrong on a hardware level, but i guess that wouldn't make sense since it works in other players, just find it weird that there is a difference, i dont have this problem on my PC and i never changed any settings there.

Here is a picture from the screen perspective of my color problem. http://imgur.com/NUFZMJi
