Do you know if the UdooX86 is ready for the orbiting space station in the hands of the Italian or American astronaut ?

    Dear ccs_hello,

I think that Udoox86 may be useful for new realtime experimentation in the space since UdooX86 has a completely innovative hardware architecture and so the experiments should be completely different from those in the past

You still have a high radiation environment. Which needs radiation hardened equipment.

Yes, of course it needs a suitable case specific for the space

Didn't they take a regular almost-off-the-shelf laptop to the ISS to see if it could work?

There was definitely a Raspberry Pi that went to the Space Station and I would have thought that the UDOO x86 fell into a similar category?

Not exactly a UDOO or Raspberry: "Space station to test supercomputer bathed in cosmic rays"
