Arduino 101 hangs when using serial

    Hi guys,
    my Arduino 101 has always worked as expected but since about a month I'm experiencing a weird issue. The sketches run fine, but every time I try to connect via serial to the Arduino it hangs.

    Uploading new sketches via DFU works flawlessly.

    Does it happen to anyone else? Any ideas?

    I have the same problems in Windows 7, see my previous post. The serial port works fine under linux.
    Are you using Windows 10?

    No, I'm using Linux.
    I believe the problem you described is unrelated: you have issues with the COM drivers, not with the Arduino itself
