    Hi there!

I made this case to protect my Udoo x86 running as Linux home server. This is my first more complex design I made with the open source software *FreeCAD* (https://www.freecadweb.org/).
There is a compartment for a 63,5 mm ('2,5"') SSD/HDD and a 50x50x15 mm fan should keep the disk and board cool. For better mechanical connections I used insert nuts which I molded into the plastic using an soldering iron. Currently there are no holes for the GPIO headers beacuse I don't need them right now.

Feel free to print and use it.

This is looking great! I was hoping to modify your design for my Udoo Quad and a 3.5" HDD, but FreeCAD turns out to be more complicated than I thought. I was wondering if it would be possible for you to update the dimensions to fit the Udoo Quad and a 3.5" HDD? If not, could you perhaps tell me how to do this myself in FreeCAD? Meanwhile, I'll play around some more and see how far I get. Thanks!

    Hey Hjdskey!

Since this case design is my first "bigger" project in FreeCAD and being still pretty noob at FreeCAD your request to modify the design for Udoo Quad is going to be a complete redesign. I've currently no free time to do this.
If you want I can give you the FreeCAD file so you can modify it by yourself.

    And thanks for your feedback!

I understand. I'd very much appreciate the FreeCAD file!
