My UDOO Quad came the other day and I had already downloaded Ubuntu from Mirror EU and the SorceForge sites. Both versions resulted in a requirement of about 700 PB to unzip. The first file I opened originally showed normal file size but later showed the excessive size.

I got the file on the third try from the SorceForge site. Anybody else have these problems?

Use 7zip or another 3rd party utility to unzip it. It's just the way the filesize is described and not really that size.

This is covered in the getting started document, tutorials and on this forum.

Hi. Thanks for the tip. I was using the default unzip that comes with Windows. Once I downloaded it on Linux and unzipped it it worked well. I just unzipped it using 7zip with no problems.

If you are a moderator, it would be a good tip to place in that information in the "Creating a bootable Micro SD card" tutorial found here: http://www.udoo.org/getting-started/cre ... rom-image/
