    Hello,
I bought a Udoo x86 Basic Board and want to update the Bios to 1.05 because the Bios version I have can't write SD cards yet. I have a FreeDos USB stick and I can start it. After calling the Update.bat I always get the following error: "allocate Physical Memory failed (buffer2)" The update will not be done...

    what can I do?
    thank you for your help

    regards Walter

    Hi @Walter,
Probably FreeDos is not compatible with the updater at the moment.
If you can, please use an Ubuntu distribution (e.g. Ubuntu 18.04) or Windows 10 and the correspondent tool.

    Best Regards,
    Ek5

    Hi @Ek5,

thank you very much for your answer. Then I could still try for a long time.........
I tried it with a MS-Dos stick and loaded the Bios version 1.04 that worked.
That is ok for me, because the SD card and also the battery reset should work with it.
Ev. goes with MS-Dos also the 1.05? Maybe I still try it out?

    greetings
    Walter

Yes, BTW the only improvement shipped with 1.05 is the SPDIF feature enabled.
