Greetings, I have Volumio (Debian Jessie) running on a Udoo Quad with a USB 5TB WD Passwort & a USB Scarlett SOLO DAC and a 15" LVDS screen. My issue is that I would like to use the SATA Port with a GS30N DVDRW connected to the SATA port on the UDOO Quad and it's not listed under /dev/s*. On boot up this is what's detected. [ 2.124169] ata1: SATA link up 1.5 Gbps (SStatus 113 SControl 300) [ 2.169710] ata1.00: ATAPI: HL-DT-ST DVD+/-RW GS30N, A102, max UDMA/133 [ 2.219477] ata1.00: configured for UDMA/133 Also if I run lsscsi this is the output: [0:0:0:0] cd/dvd HL-DT-ST DVD+-RW GS30N A102 - [1:0:0:0] disk Scarlett Welcome Disk 0.10 /dev/sda [2:0:0:0] disk WD My Passport 2627 4008 /dev/sdb [2:0:0:1] enclosu WD SES Device 4008 - /proc/scsi doesn't exist either. It's being detected but I'm lost on how to mount it to use the Nanosound CD Plugin. I'm thinking a Kernel re-compile and build Volumio from scratch however I'm reading that the following command should work and it doesn't: echo “- – -” > /sys/class/scsi_host/hostX/scan I've googled this and cant find anything on how to link SCSI 0:0:0:0 to /media/cdrom at all. Please guide me if anyone has an idea. Thanks - Jeff D.
