Sorry for this stupid question. I was waiting winter hollidays for unpacking my Udoo Quad.
I did noticed that I've to update
1/ The "Kickstarter’s backers: update your UDOO asap" page was not working http://www.udoo.org/update-procedure/
2/ I've tried the "Creating a bootable Micro SD card from image" procedure tp://www.udoo.org/getting-started/creat ... rom-image/
With Ubuntu (3 times) and with Windows (yes !!) I've check procedure.... But nothing is working
I can boot with the Android SD card
I'm quiet disapointed to spend so much time for nothing
Am I the only one with such a trouble ?
Is it somewhere a tutorial page for a stupid neebie like me ?

Re: Just a simple way to create a Ubuntu SD cart ?

    Thank you Maurizio.
But I've tried some more time
I've the message saying that the copy is ok

    6934+1 enregistrements lus (=read)
    6934+1 enregistrements écrits (= writed)
    7271147520 octets (7,3 GB) copiés, 1799,17 s, 4,0 MB/s

    But it's not working
I've tried with another sd cart : nothing better.
When I insert (after the process) the card in my laptop (Xubuntu) I don't see any files is that normal ?
Is it a way for verifying that the card is realy ready to go un the Udoo device ?

I agree this is a very difficult task. I wish Udoo would sell SD cards with the image file already on it. There is an issue with the file size, I can't even unzip it. I am now trying 7-zip.
