Hi - new to the neo. I noticed that the base image is Ubuntu 14 and I'd like to upgrade it. I found some steps on how to do it but I wanted to know if this is a bad idea? I've also been told by a friend that the neo is locked to 14 - is that true?

Second question - the neo has some GUI tools on the image that is provided, will these be nuked during an upgrade?

    Thanks in advance!

Regarding your first question: At least there is an 18.04 image available here:

I am just trying to get it to run, but there doesn't seem to be much support keft for this nice little board.
Have you maybe found the above mentioned post and got it to run? If so, would you mind sharing your experience?

It runs on the original image. I have it doing some of the things I need to, and ended up using a workaround for the other thing I needed a new image for. It's a tad antiquated, but it runs linux so the nuts and bolts are exposed and that allows you to do lots of troublshooting.

What specifically are you having trouble with?
