I have a Udoo Dual running the latest 4.3 Jelly Bean image from the Udoo downloads section. Is this build able to do 1080p 30 frames per second playback? I'm playing videos taken with an iPhone 5 (so h.264 encoded quicktime/mp4) and I've tried BSPlayer and multiple different configurations for hardware acceleration decoding/playback, and only am able to achieve 1080p at about 10 frames per second.

Does anyone know what the limiting factor might be or what I might be doing wrong?

I've seen the video showing Raspberry Pi vs Beagle Bone Black vs Udoo...but maybe this was running at 720p?

By contrast, Raspberry Pi has no problem playing this same set of videos in 1080p 30 frames per second under Raspbian/omxplayer.

I am having the same experience with 1080p playback in Android 4.3.

I just tried Stephan Rafin's image for yocto running XBMC (Gotham) and it works great with 1080p.
