I'm under the impression you have to boot off the uSD card. Just the UBOOT stuff, then the SATA drive can continue.
HDMI is 4 pairs of LVDS(low voltage differential signals) signals and a few other misc lines. GPIO is usually digital or analog.
Could this be done with words as well? Like cut pin 1 of Uxx. Or with references to the schematics?
Maybe UDOO engineers are working on a version 2 of the UDOO quad. We can be hopeful!
