5v or 3.3 v?

Hi, what logic voltage is the udoo compatable with?
On the documet it says to be careful with legacy shields that use 5v logic but on the main website it says its operating voltage is 5v not 3.3v

I'm seeing mixed and conflicting information everywhere.
Can the udoo take 5v logic coming from another board (a shield, another arduino, etc..) ?
What is the Udoo's operating voltage? Does operating voltage mean it can take 5v input 5vout if the operating voltage is 5?

The Logic is 3.3V.

The power supply is 6-15V

Not directly no. You'd have to use a Logic Level Shifter to convert from 0-5V to 0-3.3V.

 

Exactly, and there are a few of these getting into the market to help people running the the straight Arduino Due (and clones) use more of the existing shields. We haven't seen any formal testing of any of these Logic Level Shifters yet, but i know a few of us have been looking into getting them for some testing.
