Hi, I recently received my Udoo Quad with the 7" touch lcd, I burnt the android image available at the download section and, after a while, configured the system through serial console to use the lvds. I've tried unsucessfully to play any sound from it, with earphones connected to the spk jack. Also, the system reboots after a while trying to reproduce any video (soon after starting, it "hangs", while the console is flooded with "HDMI is not ready!" and "can't open platform imx-hdmi-soc-audio.0". I don't have a hdmi monitor/tv to test it. I'll get another microSD next week to try Ubuntu in it and check the above. Any suggestions to troubleshoot/fix the audio and video issues in android will be appreciated.
Hi keber, in Android you need to set the audio device to use from the settings. In the section Sound -> Audio Device you can select the device OnBoard and the audio will out, after a reboot, from jack.
