Hello, I have new motherboard having the new SATA III ports. I have a new Seagate 1 TB HDD which is of SATA III (6 GB/s) . I was wondering if I can use one of the old SATA I cables off my old mother board for this. Do you think I can do this and if yes, will there be any performance difference ? Or is this too much of a risk. Thanks!
