Hello, I was wondering 1) if any LVDS display can be used with the Udoo and 2) what would be required to get it to work? Would the drivers for the display be much different than the LVDS displays that are sold on Udoo.org? I'm looking to use a more rugged LCD display with my Udoo but am unsure how hard it will be to get it working with the Udoo. Anyone have any experience with this?
It is possible, provided you can make the proper cable to do all the signaling. That's the tricky part as there isn't much in the way of a "standard" (like USB) here for that interface. Also, you have to use a single-channel LVDS, which tends to limit the screen resolution. See this thread: viewtopic.php?f=22&t=17 --Mike
