I'd love to have a number of these boards in a show box to make a portable VMware lab.

I'd place the order if I knew it was possible to run the VMware code & VMs on the x86 boards.

Could someone test this & get back to me?

-OR- Send me out an eval board ?

The processor on the UDOO X86 has Intel's virtualisation technology built in, and supports Intel VT-x with Extended Page Tables (EPT). On the Intel site, it describes this feature as "Second Level Address Translation (SLAT), provides acceleration for memory intensive virtualized applications. Extended Page Tables in Intel® Virtualization Technology platforms reduces the memory and power overhead costs and increases battery life through hardware optimization of page table management."
