We have the Udoo Quad running Android 4.3 but find that the board-based wifi is very weak and connection is intermittent at best (even with wifi access point only a few feet away with direct line of sight).

We have purchased the Cirago BTA-7300 which is a small wifi (802.11 b/g/n) and bluetooth combo adapter (also much smaller than the Udoo adapter: very nice!).

The bluetooth is working properly when connecting to the USB port but of course the wifi component remains unused.

Is there way to disable the board-wifi and get udoo to use the adapter-based wifi instead?

Alternatively (and for separate reason) we're currently working to rebuild the Android image from your source code (with some custom modifications). Is there a configuration setting that would let us disable the board-based wifi component (file? .conf setting? something else?)?

    Any help much appreciated.
    Freddy.
