channel #udoo on irc.freenode.net port 6667 its slowly getting more active. but we need more people to chat with
I've joined. Thought I'd try a Chrome Browser Extension called CIRC... seems OK so far (the alternative is a standalone desktop client of course for those that don't IRC).
ptl / Patola My nickname here is Patola but I like to use 'ptl' on IRC, that is, my nickname without the vogals. Long story... Anyways, meet you there, guys. I keep my nickname on 24/7 on one of my ARM boards with Linux (I have 16 so far).
@Lifeboat_Jim - I tried out CIRC - but, it just gives me this: 1:00:27 AM Connecting to irc.freenode.net... 1:00:28 AM *** Looking up your hostname... 1:00:28 AM *** Checking Ident. 1:00:28 AM *** Found your hostname. 1:00:28 AM *** No Ident response. 1:00:28 AM <shaneaus> :Erroneous Nickname. I don't have an issue with other clients... Any ideas? I'm pretty experienced with computers - I've just never needed to be on IRC before... I tried to other applications and they accepted my nick... Not sure why CIRC is giving me that error... It has a pretty simplistic interface...
it's very good to see more people come to the irc-channel... Great work starting it firehopper! thanks for that =)
