    Hi there

I am currently trying to connect a 3M MicroTouch Panel SCT3250EX (23.8") to various other boards without any luck so far… Now I was told that the UDOObuntu distro would come with the necessary drivers already compiled into the kernel.

    Is that information correct?

    Cheers,
    tobi

What exactly is the problem? No picture on screen or only touchscreen is not working?

Picture is fine on screen, but the touchscreen is not working. (Please be aware that I am NOT using a UDOO board right now.)

I think this one is supported with hid-multitouch but probably patch must be applied to kernel to get supported.
You can check VID/PID with lsusb command to get exactly what is connected.

Thanks for your reply vpeter – but now I am confused: I want to know if these drivers are already enabled in the kernel of the UDOObuntu distro.
I do not own a UDOO board to check this out, that is why I am asking here.

Hard to say because there are lot of VID's/PID's in it's kernel patch. But I'm sure kernel can be rebuild to support it.

    Hi there p3k,
UDOO Team only supports UDOO screens by default, the one that you find in shop.udoo.org/. Obviously you can rebuild the kernel to include the necessary drivers.
